EmiGo
EmiGo is a mobile app that makes accessibility a first-class part of discovering local events. Attendees browse, search and filter events by accessibility features — wheelchair access, ASL, sensory-friendly, free — RSVP with their specific needs and group size, and save favorites. Organizers get their own side of the app to publish accessibility-aware events and manage RSVPs.
The Challenge
What needed solving
Finding events that genuinely accommodate accessibility needs is hard. Standard event apps rarely say whether a venue is wheelchair-accessible, ASL-interpreted, sensory-friendly or free — leaving people to guess, call ahead, or miss out entirely.
Our Solution
How we built it
We built EmiGo around accessibility as core metadata, not an afterthought. Every event surfaces accessibility badges and can be filtered by them, attendees RSVP with specific accessibility requests and group details, and organizers publish accessibility-aware events and receive those requests directly — all in a fast, native mobile experience.
